Role Overview
We are looking for a highly proactive and results-driven VIP Manager to focus on acquiring and developing new high-value institutional clients in the Latin America region for CoinEx.
You will be responsible for building a new VIP client base, targeting global market makers, quantitative trading firms, crypto institutions, and other high-volume traders in LATAM.
Job Responsibilities:
New VIP Client Acquisition : Prospect, approach, and onboard new strategic VIP clients (market makers, quant funds, institutional traders, high-net-worth trading entities) across Latin America.
Build and grow CoinEx’s VIP client pipeline in LATAM from zero, with clear targets on new client onboarding and trading volume contribution.
Conduct market research, identify potential VIP prospects, and execute targeted outreach strategies (cold calling, networking, events, referrals, etc.).
Deeply understand client trading needs, provide tailored solutions, and convert high-potential leads into active VIP trading partners.
Drive aggressive growth initiatives to significantly increase CoinEx’s institutional trading volume and liquidity in LATAM markets.
Work closely with the global BD, marketing, and product teams to design and execute VIP acquisition campaigns and partnership programs.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and LATAM crypto market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
Provide regular feedback from the market to help improve CoinEx’s products and services for institutional clients.
Handle ad-hoc projects related to new market expansion as assigned.
Job Requirement:
3-5 years of solid experience in business development, partnership acquisition, or VIP client acquisition, preferably in cryptocurrency exchange, Web2/3, family office, fintech, or blockchain industry.
Proven track record of successfully acquiring and onboarding new institutional/VIP clients (strong existing VIP resources or network in LATAM crypto space is a big plus).
Native or near-native Spanish and/ or Portuguese is mandatory. Excellent English (both spoken and written) is required.
Strong network and understanding of the LATAM crypto ecosystem
Experienced in new market development and expansion is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, ambitious, resilient, and strongly results-oriented. Must be comfortable with hunting new business rather than managing existing accounts.
Willing to travel within LATAM for client meetings and industry events when needed.
