The OpportunityThis role will act as a specialist in the domain of Tanks and External Components, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of internal design and verification tools.How You Will Make An ImpactPerform maintenance, testing, and debugging of internal design tools.Provide technical support to users via hotline or direct contact.Collect feedback from the design engineering community.Support standardization initiatives (technical standards, standard drawings, etc.).Contribute to training through manuals, courses, workshops, and pilots.Research and define analytical models for structural calculations.Verify and validate tools used throughout all stages of the design-to-manufacturing process.Provide technical support to design engineers across global units.Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines.RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD).Experience with PTC Creo Parametric.Knowledge of programming; additional languages are a plus.Familiarity with structural simulation tools (FEM) is desirable.Advanced English; other languages are considered a plus.Experience in multicultural and remote work environments.Availability for occasional travel.Experience in the design and manufacturing of power transformers is considered an advantage.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
