Position Overview
TheRegional Manager – Brazil & LATAMwill lead the commercial expansion of Whale TV's business across Brazil and key Latin American markets.
Acting as the strategic bridge betweenODMs in Chinaandlocal TV brands and retailers, this role is responsible for driving market growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and ensuring regional product-market alignment.
The role will work closely with internal departments—Product Management, Quality Assurance, Content, Marketing and Monetization—to tailor product and service for the LATAM market.
The Regional Manager will also collaborate directly withdecision makers at HQto align business strategies, present internal reports, and drive key initiatives that support company growth in the region.
Work Location: São Paulo, Brazil (relocation is welcome)
Travel Requirement: Structured business travel to LATAM countries and China (details below).
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Develop and execute strategies to grow Smart TV sales in Brazil and across LATAM.
Build and manage relationships withlocal TV brands and major retailers(offline and online).
Lead commercial negotiations, sales forecasting, and business planning.
Track key performance indicators(e.g., sales volume, partnership completion rate) analyzing data, and propose optimization actions.
ODM Coordination & Product Execution:
Align product requirements, timelines, and localization needs.
Coordinate with Content, Marketing, QA, Tech and PM to ensure successful delivery to market.
Retail & Channel Engagement
Oversee in-market execution across key retail partners and e-commerce channels.
Manage positioning and promotional activities.
Work with monetization team on expansion ofRetail Media Networks.
Strategic Alignment & Internal Collaboration
Align regional strategy with HQ.
Prepare and present internal performance reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
Coordinate internal cross-departmental projects to improve regional business efficiency and brand visibility
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Marketing, International Trade, Electronic Engineering, or related fields are preferred
5 to 8 yearsof experience in consumer electronics(in the Smart TV industry is a plus).
Proven success in regional sales, business development, or channel partnership inBrazil and Latin America.
Experience working with or managingODM partnerships(China) and cross-border business.
Knowledge ofLATAM retail ecosystemsand go-to-market dynamics.
Fluent in Portuguese and English (proficiency Spanish or Chinese is a big plus).
Excellent communication and teamwork.
