Position: Logistics Analyst
Position Reports to: Director – Global Supply Chain & Logistics

Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil
General Summary of Position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our dynamic supply chain team based in Brazil. This exciting opportunity offers global exposure as you will support logistics operations across diverse international markets including North America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), and ANZ (Australia & New Zealand).
The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing third-party logistics (3PL) billing against contracts, conducting invoice reconciliations, and performing comprehensive cost analysis to support optimization of our worldwide logistics operations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with AI tools, and a deep understanding of logistics cost components. The position offers the unique advantage of working with international stakeholder’s while being based in Brazil, providing valuable cross-cultural business experience and insight into global supply chain complexities.
Key Responsibilities:
3PL Contract Management
* Oversee multiple third-party logistics provider contracts
* Provide data support to Negotiate contract terms, service levels, and pricing agreements
* Monitor 3PL performance against established KPIs and SLAs
Invoice Reconciliation & Financial Management
* Perform detailed reconciliation of 3PL invoices against contracted rates and services
* Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and overcharges
* Validate service charges, accessorial fees, and surcharges
* Prepare monthly reconciliation reports and variance analysis.
* Collaborate with finance team on accounts payable processes.
Cost Analysis & Optimization
* Conduct comprehensive cost analysis across all logistics activities
Contractor & Supplier Management
* Coordinate work performed by external contractors, equipment suppliers, and engineering partners.
* Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project scope, safety standards, and quality expectations.
AI Tools & Technology Utilization
* Leverage AI-powered analytics tools for data analysis and reporting
* Utilize machine learning algorithms for predictive cost modelling
* Implement automated reconciliation processes using AI tools
* Generate insights using advanced data analytics platforms.
* Stay current with emerging AI technologies in logistics and supply chain
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related analytical roles
* Proficiency in AI tools and platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Power BI with AI features, or similar)
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
* Knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, or Power BI)
* Understanding of logistics cost structures and pricing models
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English
Preferred:
* Previous experience with 3PL management and contract administration preferred.
* Experience with freight audit and payment systems
