Responsibilities include the sorting, washing, drying, and precise folding of linens, as well as the operation of industrial laundry equipment and chemical dispensing systems. This role also involves identifying maintenance issues, managing lost and found procedures, and maintaining a strict linen recovery program. While primarily based in the laundry room, the attendant also upholds guest service standards by maintaining a professional presence in hallways and guest areas. The ideal candidate is a hardworking, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in the "behind-the-scenes" excellence that defines a luxury hotel stay. Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy laundry bags, push loaded carts, and stand or walk for the duration of a shift.
