The current system automates software/firmware updates for CPE (Router) devices. Your role will be to integrate on-prem Tunnel Endpoint (TE) servers with this system, enabling automatic updates across multiple POP locations.Additional information:The team consists of fewer than 15 members, including an architect, project manager, Python and UI developers, DevOps, and a UX designer.We employ SCRUM / Agile methodologies.Our tech stack includes Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and React.The client is based in the US.We work on multiple interesting projects simultaneously, so you may be invited for interviews for other projects if your skills and profile align well.Your roleAs part of the project team, your responsibilities will include:Integrating TE servers with proprietary systems for update automation.Developing Python scripts and tools on AWS and TE.Updating PostgreSQL databases to support upgrades.Resolving Linux environment issues.Do we have a match?As a Senior Engineer, you should meet the following criteria:Excellent knowledge of Bash and Python.Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.Good knowledge of cloud-native technologies, especially AWS.Solid understanding of Linux systems.Proficiency in English (B2 level).Beyond these criteria, the following skills are a plus:Knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, VRF).Familiarity with SDN and NFV.Experience working with distributed systems.Reasons to join usFlexible working hours and options: fully remote, in-office, or hybrid.Support for professional growth through internal training and a training budget.Comprehensive onboarding with a hands-on approach for a smooth start.Collaborative atmosphere among passionate professionals.Opportunity to work on different projects.
