We’re looking for a Business Analyst – Supply Chain Planning to join a high-performance global Planning IT Team. This professional will act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring that supply chain planning needs are translated into efficient, integrated system solutions across SAP APO/IBP.
Responsibilities
Working in close relationship to Seed and Chemical Manufacturing and Analytical groups to understand business processes.
Working with and supporting the Business Network and developing and managing enterprise solutions to reduce operating costs within the Supply Chain.
Troubleshooting Planning issues related to SAP APO (DP and PPDS), PP-PI, MM and SD functionalities.
Identify Data Requirements and how to map corresponding sources within Warehouse.
Planning, design, configuration, testing and training of Kinaxis Maestro (Planning processes).
Production support of current sites using Kinaxis Maestro, including developing and maintaining interfaces to other systems.
Driving improvements and enhancements for the Planning community.
Development of Functional Design Specifications and detailed enhancement documentation to support custom programs and BI report development.
Cross-functional work with IBP, APO, MM, SD, ABAP, Security, Basis, Operations, and other teams as necessary to resolve technical and process issues.
Understanding and supporting integration issues that affect the Planning Process.
Identify opportunities for process improvements either in existing designs or by adopting new functionalities available in Kinaxis Maestro.
Required Skills
Experience in SAP configuration for Production Processes (PP-PI) and Supply Chain, including material structure and master data.
Participation in end-to-end implementations of planning solutions such as SAP APO or SAP IBP.
Experience in configuring and managing Planning Tools such as SAP IBP or APO.
Strong understanding of integration points between Planning Tools and other SAP modules (PP-PI, MM, SD, etc.).
Ability to translate complex business requirements into appropriate SAP configurations or developments, documenting limitations when needed.
Knowledge of material structure and batch classification in SAP.
Ability to write functional data requirements.
Experience with end-to-end master data implementation.
Advanced or fluent English required for daily interaction with global teams.
Preferred
Knowledge of SQL (scripting or understanding).
Knowledge in Kinaxis Maestro.
Experience with SAP Business Warehouse.
