Responsibilities
Under supervision of the Technical Coordinator and the JFCE DTIC team, the analyst will:
Design, develop and document APIs following SOLID, DRY and OWASP guidelines
Architect code across layers (controller, service, repository)
Implement and review complex business logic, authentication, authorization and auditing
Configure and maintain databases (PostgreSQL, NoSQL when applicable), optimize SQL, cache and monitor performance bottlenecks
Develop unit, integration and automated tests; conduct code reviews and mentor junior colleagues
Configure CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and continuous deployment processes
Manage environment variables securely, apply regular security patches and comply with data protection regulations
Monitor production logs, metrics and alert systems; troubleshoot incidents in production
Facilitate communication between technical and business teams; plan and deliver agile releases
Collaborate with JFCE, UNDP and project stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with project objectives
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field, or
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field plus minimum two years of qualified professional experience
Candidates with a Master’s may apply without professional experience
Desired Skills
PostgreSQL and Oracle database experience
Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Flyway
Python 3 or JavaScript (Node 18+) skills
Microservices architecture, REST, SOAP services
Docker, Kubernetes
Agile methodologies – Scrum, Kanban, Jira
CI/CD tools – Jenkins, ArgoCD
Version control – Git, GitLab, Gitea
Messaging – RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ
Experience in judiciary solutions is a plus
