Senior Data Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can own the end-to-end delivery of complex data infrastructure and high-fidelity integrations. This role involves more custom coding and architectural design than a typical data engineer role as you will be building robust bridges between our internal microservices and external partner APIs in addition to data pipelines.
Minimum Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a strong foundation in system design.
• This is a coding heavy role. You must be able to write production-grade, modular Python code.
• Expert level proficiency in SQL, complex data modeling and Bigquery performance optimization.
• Deep experience with the Data stack of Google Cloud Platform (Bigquery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Composer, Dataflow etc) is required.
• Proven success building integrations with API clients to fetch or send data and streaming platforms.
• Advanced hands-on experience with dbt (incremental models, testing and project organization).
• Active experience using AI coding tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Expert command of Git, CI/CD workflows and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
