The role typically involves the following key duties and responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: 1. Consultation and Needs Assessment: Work with clients to understand their business needs, workflows, and IT requirements. Recommend appropriate Office 365 tools and features to optimize business processes. Perform gap analysis and identify areas where Office 365 can provide improvements or solutions. 2. Implementation and Deployment: Assist in the deployment and configuration of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Planner. Lead the migration of data from on-premises environments (e.g., Exchange Server, file servers) to Microsoft 365 cloud services. Design and implement customized solutions and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and other automation tools within the platform. 3. Collaboration & Integration: Enable collaboration across teams using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other O365 services. Integrate third-party applications with Microsoft 365 tools to improve business efficiency. Provide guidance on how to integrate Microsoft 365 with other cloud-based or on-premises systems. 4. Training and Support: Provide training to end users and IT teams on the effective use of Microsoft 365 tools. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 services and applications. Develop documentation and user guides for internal use and client distribution. 5. Security and Compliance: Advise on best practices for security, compliance, and governance using Microsoft 365 security tools, such as Microsoft Defender, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and compliance centers. Implement and configure security features like Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and encryption. 6. Optimization and Monitoring: Monitor and optimize the performance of the Office 365 environment. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance collaboration and productivity. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and services. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Minimum 7-8 years of deep knowledge of Office 365 products, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and integration. Familiarity with cloud concepts, Active Directory, and Microsoft Intune. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified (various levels depending on focus, e.g., Modern Desktop Administrator, Enterprise Administrator Expert). Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Experience delivering training sessions or creating training materials. Project Management: Experience managing projects related to Microsoft 365 deployments or migrations. Ability to assess project scope, define milestones, and ensure timely delivery.
