We're seeking a seasoned video editor to join our team. A leading digital media and content production group is looking for an individual with expertise in producing high-quality video edits, particularly within the media, entertainment, or sports industry.
This role involves editing audio and video for various formats such as podcasts, YouTube videos, advertisements, branded content, and more, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and visual appeal.
* Edit video and audio for podcast, YouTube videos, advertisements, and other content types, resulting in color-corrected, synchronized, and polished final products.
* Enhance audio clarity by correcting sync issues, reducing noise, and applying EQ techniques.
* Add intro/outro music, sound effects, and transitions to create a professional and engaging atmosphere.
* Select pivotal moments from episodes to craft shorter video clips suitable for social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok.
* Tailor clips to meet platform requirements (aspect ratios, length, captioning) while maintaining audience engagement.
* Integrate dynamic motion graphics, lower thirds, captions, and animations to elevate viewer experience.
* Create title cards, branding elements, and background visuals in harmony with the podcast's visual identity.
* Collaborate closely with hosts, producers, and social media managers to align on styles, themes, key messages, and desired tone.
Requirements
You should have:
* Proficiency in English (advanced to fluent level).
* A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably with podcast or interview-style content.
* Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software; knowledge of audio software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition) is beneficial.
* A solid understanding of sound design, color correction, and high-level motion graphics/animations.
* An attention to detail and quality control in all aspects of editing.
* Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
* The capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* A portfolio showcasing your video editing work.
