About the Role
* You will define and lead the design experiences across three core products-web and mobile.
* Take ideas from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct and manage full research process from planning and scheduling to execution and synthesis.
* Lead usability testing sessions, gather feedback and information to vet and refine designs.
* Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scope appropriately, and account for edge cases and error states.
About You
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in Product/UX Design.
* Fluent in English.
* Strong portfolio with concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web or mobile interfaces.
* Experience designing for similar users preferred (Nurses, Senior Care Professionals).
Work Arrangements
The team is distributed, but generally located in North and South America (United States and Brazil). Work hours are flexible, but there are regular meetings you'll be expected to attend. The expectation is to be available to collaborate during general daytime hours. The team relies heavily on Figma, Slack, Linear and Notion for collaboration.
This role requires a strong bias for action and scrappy attitude toward the product development process-flexibility and willingness to pivot are keys to success in this fast-paced environment.
Interview Process
* Please apply with your LinkedIn profile and/or resume. Please include a portfolio link.
* Asynchronous portfolio review: Create a 15-minute video walking through a relevant project that demonstrates your skills and experience related to the role.
* Project: Spend 2 hours on a small project. You will be given product context and asked to come up with low-fidelity designs for a user experience that would address the problem. You will present your project during a 1-hour interview with leadership.
* 1-2 additional follow-up 1:1s with the founder and/or Head of Engineering may be requested to address unresolved questions.
