About the role
The Brewing Specialist will lead technical and customer-driven initiatives to support innovation and renovation of Kerry’s offerings in the alcoholic beverage sector, with a strong focus on beer brewing. This role is responsible for building strategic client relationships, driving adoption of Kerry technologies, and aligning with cross-functional teams to deliver excellence across LATAM.
Key responsibilities
* Lead with technical insights and leverage customer/consumer feedback to drive innovation and renovation of Kerry’s offerings.
* Align with the RDA (Research, Development & Applications) team to ensure cross-functional excellence and consistent ways of working.
* Own and manage the overall relationship with assigned clients, including onboarding, implementation, and increasing adoption of Kerry technologies.
* Establish a high level of customer intimacy and build trusted, strategic relationships to drive continued value.
* Develop and maintain customer success strategies and share best practices across commercial teams.
* Ensure alignment with Kerry’s alcoholic beverage strategy in LATAM, with a specific focus on beer brewing.
* Travel to client sites across LATAM at least 70% of the time to support implementation, relationship building, and technical collaboration.
Qualifications and skills
* Degree in Brewing Science, Fermentation Science, Food Science, or a related field (preferred).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial brewing environment.
* Strong knowledge of brewing equipment, ingredients, and techniques.
* Familiarity with quality assurance and laboratory testing procedures.
* Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is required.
* Strong communication, strategic planning, and project management skills.
* Analytical and process-oriented mindset.
* Comfortable working across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment.
* Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker with the ability to quickly adjust priorities.
* Passion for craft beer and innovation.
* Skilled at developing and delivering compelling stories to clients and stakeholders.
* Certification from recognized brewing institutions (e.G., Cicerone, IBD) (Desirable)
* Experience with sustainable brewing practices (Desirable)
* Knowledge of local and international beer styles (Desirable)
