Delivery Excellence Manager Needed
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Delivery Excellence Manager to drive successful project execution and delivery across complex initiatives in our agile engineering environment. This key role sits at the center of business, product, and engineering teams — translating priorities into actionable plans, driving clarity, and ensuring work is delivered with quality and consistency.
This hands-on, client-facing position involves taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and keeping teams aligned and moving forward. As a key member of our team, you will:
* Own end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives from planning through execution and completion
* Build and manage delivery plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination
* Partner closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking (Jira)
* Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and driving alignment across teams
* Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and adjust plans as priorities evolve
* Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops as needed
* Support prioritization decisions by providing delivery insights, trade-offs, and impact analysis
* Continuously improve delivery processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and predictability
* Track and report on delivery progress using appropriate metrics and tools
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 5+ years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives
* Strong experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
* Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking
* Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders
* Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing role
* Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity
* Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs
* BASIC SQL SKILLS AND FAMILIARITY WITH FINANCE OR ACCOUNTING CONCEPTS ARE A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED
