OverviewAmazon Logistics (AMZL) in Brazil is in an exciting phase of growing its large-scale logistics network, dealing with the most difficult last-mile challenges and opportunities in terms of cost, service, and quality. We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated person to act as Senior Regional Operations Manager to promote the expansion of the EDSP (External Delivery Service Provider) Program. EDSP is a hybrid Amazon Logistics operation that uses last-mile partner companies that operate regionally to deliver Amazon packages through the use of the main AMZL technologies and processes, seeking the best service in the category for our clients in Brazil. We continue to strive for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).Key responsibilitiesManage a pool of ~50 last mile EDSP operational nodes.Build strong partnerships with field operations leaders from other areas, accelerating the resolution of problems that can cause spam in the last mile and in other areas of operations.Innovate to improve the customer experience and reduce costs from our network.Analyze and resolve operational barriers by focusing on root causes.Seek ways to optimize our network and operations through continuous benchmarking with colleagues from other countries.Build new mechanisms and metrics that help streamline daily operations.Coordinate effectively with various organizations, including field operators, support teams, and technology product managers.A day in the lifeThe day of a Regional Operations Leader in the EDSP area is dynamic, alternating among operational activities (managing the routine of the team and partners), tactical activities (building mechanisms for operational efficiency), and strategic activities (participation in strategic planning cycles for expansion and consolidation of the EDSP partner network).
