Warehouse Layout Optimization Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Layout Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient warehouse layouts that maximize space utilization, reduce travel time, and improve ergonomics.
Main Responsibilities:
* Analyze inbound, put-away, picking, and outbound processes to identify areas for improvement.
* Design and implement optimized warehouse layouts that minimize travel distance and improve material flow.
* Conduct detailed time studies and work sampling to establish and maintain standard operating times.
* Develop cost-benefit and ROI models for layout changes, automation investments, and process improvements.
* Collaborate with operations, safety, IT, and automation teams to ensure smooth implementation of changes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
