GWM Analyst, Account & Transaction Management
The Trading Platform Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the broker-dealer’s operations by managing transactions, user accounts, and administrative tasks on trading platforms. This role will focus
on ensuring the smooth functioning of trading activities related to accounts located on several custodians,
maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing administrative support to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Transaction Tracking and Management:
* Monitor, process, and record all transactions as needed.
* Reconcile transaction records with internal systems and external reports to ensure accuracy.
* Track cash flows and payments made throughout the structure.
* Identify and resolve discrepancies in transaction records promptly.
2.User Account Management:
* Create and manage new accounts for new products or complex structures.
* Verify user information and ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
* Assign appropriate access levels and permissions based on user roles (e.g., traders, reporting, view-only access).
* Deactivate or remove accounts or users as needed and maintain an audit trail of account changes.
3.Administrative Support for Trading Platforms:
* Facilitate the onboarding of new accounts, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
* Provide technical support to users for platform-related issues, escalating to platform providers when necessary.
4.Fund Transfers and Wire Processing:
* Process fund transfers and wire requests related to incoming and outgoing transactions.
* Verify transfer details for accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
* Coordinate with custodians, banks, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
* Maintain detailed records of all transfers and wires for audit and reporting purposes.
5.Compliance and Reporting:
* Prepare and submit regular reports on transaction activity, account usage, and cash flows related to securitized assets.
* Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and account activity.
* Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or compliance violations.
6.Inbox and Ticket Management:
* Monitor the team’s shared inbox or ticketing system for new requests, inquiries, or issues.
* Respond to incoming requests and tickets within a strict SLA.
* Prioritize and escalate urgent or complex issues to the appropriate team members.
7.Communication and Coordination:
* Act as a liaison between traders, platform providers, and internal teams.
* Communicate updates, changes, or issues related to the trading platforms to relevant stakeholders.
* Provide training and guidance to new users on platform functionalities and processes.
* Assisting in the setup and maintenance of trading platforms for newly opened acocunts.
* Track and update records of asset performance, including payment schedules and collateral details.
* Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting of performance.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in transaction tracking and account management.
* Stay updated on platform updates, new features, and industry best practices related to asset securitization.
* Suggest and implement improvements to enhance user experience and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience in administrative or operational roles within a broker-dealer (2-3 years)
•Strong understanding of trading platforms, securitized assets, and financial transactions (IBKR, Nexen, Matrix, NetX360).
•Familiarity with SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory requirements for broker-dealers.
•Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
•Proficiency in using spreadsheets, financial software, and trading platforms.
•Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Knowledge of securitized assets.
