The key function of the Business Systems Analyst is to act as a liaison between business requirements and technological solutions. Their primary responsibility is to analyze and interpret business needs, translating them into functional specifications, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions align with the company's objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Requirements Analysis and Specification: Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications for the development team.
* Solution Design and Testing: Collaborating with developers and system architects to design solutions that meet business needs.
* Stakeholder Management and Leadership: Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in an IT environment. They should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, and proficiency in business analytics tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio. Experience with project management software such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, and Asana is also required. Knowledge in SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL are necessary.
