Web Platform Consultant Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Platform Consultant to join our team. This exciting role combines hands-on JavaScript development with client-facing consulting, allowing you to lead and coach clients in delivering interoperable software solutions using our io.Connect Software Platform Suite.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and prototype JavaScript/interop-based solutions to address client use cases and workflows.
* Advise clients on technical strategy, architecture, and implementation of interoperable systems using modern web frameworks.
* Collaborate with clients' teams to assess needs, lead projects, coach developers, and align businesses with IT.
* Assist clients in building and maintaining complex front-end applications, such as dashboards and interactive platforms, for professional users.
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure project success.
* Deliver presentations and engage in live client interactions, adapting to challenges as needed.
Requirements
Technical Skills
* 5+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack development, including modern JavaScript (ES6+).
* Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks (preferably React), including responsive design, state management, and component testing.
* Familiarity with TypeScript or other programming languages (e.g., .NET, Java, Python, C++).
* Proficiency with asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await), Node.js, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Experience in enterprise environments with established governance, CICD, and systematic approaches for managing horizontal scale.
Client-Facing Experience
* Strong client-facing experience with excellent verbal and written English fluency.
* Experience in technical consulting, solutions architecture, or B2B presales/account management.
* Established skills in discovery, design thinking, or business analysis.
Additional Requirements
* Proven ability to deliver projects under pressure in collaboration with client IT organizations.
* Background in capital markets, institutional trading, or financial services technology would be considered a plus.
* Willingness to work during U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours and occasional travel to the US.
