Monthly salary: $4,000 - $5,000 USD
Along with our partner, we are seeking a strong execution partner to their Snowflake Architect to own medium–high complexity engineering tasks end-to-end and accelerate delivery across multiple workstreams. This is a senior, independent contributor, not a junior or support role.
What you'll do:
* Build and maintain data pipelines in Snowflake
* Develop ELT transformations (dbt / advanced SQL)
* Implement architectural patterns defined by Snowflake Architect (dynamic tables, external tables, etc.)
* Design scalable, analytics-ready data models
* Optimize performance and cost in Snowflake
* Embed data quality, testing, and documentation
* Collaborate directly with the architect and a broader D&A team
What you'll bring:
* 6+ years of data engineering experience
* 5+ years of deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake (performance tuning, modeling, pipelines), Advanced SQL, and dbt or similar ELT frameworks
* Strong experience with AWS services (S3, IAM, integrations with Snowflake), and Python, including Snowflake Python (Snowpark preferred)
* Proven ability to deliver complex pipelines independently, and translate high-level architecture into production solutions
* High ownership, low ego
* Strong communicator in a remote setup
* Able to push back and think critically (not just execute tickets)
Preferred:
* A solid understanding of Snowflake Dynamic Tables and modern features, Iceberg/lakehouse patterns, and Airflow or orchestration tools
* Exposure to Sigma / Tableau
Work Schedule: Overlap with Hawaii Standard Time preferred
Duration: 6 to 12 months with possible extension
