About the Opportunity Sossego Design is expanding its finance function and seeking a Cost and Financial Planning Specialist to design, build, and implement new cost management and financial planning processes at our factory in Canela, RS. This is a brand-new position, offering full autonomy to define methodologies, select tools, and build the function from the ground up. The role involves frequent interaction with the company CFO, directly contributing to strategic financial decisions. Reports to the Finance Director.. Key Responsibilities Design and implement industrial cost analysis processes (raw materials, labor, overhead) Build the financial planning and budgeting framework for the manufacturing unit Develop costing, pricing, and profitability models by product line Prepare management reports, dashboards, and variance analyses (actual vs. budget) Conduct economic feasibility analyses for new projects and investments Engage frequently with the CFO, providing inputs for strategic decision-making Support monthly accounting close with focus on cost reconciliations Identify cost reduction opportunities and operational efficiency improvements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields Minimum 5 years of experience in cost analysis and/or financial planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in ERP systems Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, financial modeling) Proven ability to build processes and functions from scratch Analytical, proactive profile with strategic vision Nice to Have Graduate degree or MBA in Finance, Controllership, or Cost Management Experience implementing costing methodologies (ABC, standard costing) Position Details Work Model: On-site Location: Factory in Canela, RS, Brazil Contract Type: CLT (Full-time employment) Salary: R$ 10,000.00/month Reports to: Finance Director
