Business Analyst Job Description
This role is responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements, mapping processes, defining acceptance criteria, taking on the QA role, gathering requirements from stakeholders, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria, mapping delivery and invoice processing flow, documenting integrations, data formats, and business rules, defining metrics and success criteria, creating test cases, performing functional validation, reporting defects, and following up on corrections.
Key Responsibilities:
* Eliciting and documenting requirements to ensure accurate project scope.
* Maintaining process maps to optimize workflow efficiency.
* Defining acceptance criteria to guarantee quality deliverables.
* Taking ownership of QA tasks to identify and resolve issues promptly.
* Gathering stakeholder input to inform project decisions.
* Transforming requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Mapping complex delivery and invoice processing flows.
* Documenting integrations, data formats, and business rules to facilitate smooth operations.
* Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
* Crafting comprehensive test cases to validate functional requirements.
* Performing thorough functional validations to ensure accuracy.
* Reporting defects and following up on corrections to maintain high-quality outputs.
Requirements:
* At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst in mobility projects and/or system integration.
* In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies and management tools like Jira and Azure Boards.
* Ability to create effective test cases and validate functional requirements.
* Advanced proficiency in English language.
* Familiarity with Agile Methodology (Scrum).
