Job Title: Rotating Machinery Engineer
The successful candidate will act as the Responsible Engineer for all rotating machinery on assigned projects, from proposal to commissioning and start-up phases. They will be responsible for developing engineering design documentation, assisting the design team with PFDs, P&IDs, drawings, and BOMs, and coordinating equipment engineering activities with internal and external resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement vibration monitoring programs and analyze machinery vibration data.
* Participate in weekly project team meetings and provide progress status on equipment design and procurement.
* Develop bid and purchase packages, issue requests for quotations, and evaluate bids.
* Review and validate supplier proposals, calculations, drawings, and documentation.
* Witness machinery testing at the vendor manufacturing site.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in mechanical design of industrial rotating equipment in Industrial Gases, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas industries.
* Strong knowledge and experience of machinery vibration analysis, FAT inspection, and performance testing evaluation procedures.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Detailed knowledge of various types of machinery equipment for Air Separation Plants.
* Experience commissioning, starting up, and troubleshooting rotating machinery.
* Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Management of Change (MOC).
