About the role
This position is within the Orange Business 'B2B Global Sourcing' team, which supports the company's purchasing and supply chain operations, managing approximately 2 billion euros across 6,500 suppliers. The team comprises four entities: Project Sourcing, Telecom Sourcing, B2B Category Sourcing, and Sourcing Operations.
The Project Sourcing entity handles procurement for customer deals over €1m TCV, with a responsibility of around €500m, covering a broad range of products and services.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement purchasing strategies: Collaborate with B2B Category Sourcing, anticipate market trends, and support group transformations.
2. Customer project sourcing and sales relations: Work with sales teams to anticipate needs, optimize proposals, and manage sourcing projects.
3. Supplier and partner management: Select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and develop strategic partnerships.
4. Value creation: Identify savings opportunities and promote CSR commitments.
5. Internal collaboration and governance: Engage with stakeholders, validate purchasing decisions, and promote best practices.
6. Risk management: Assess and mitigate purchasing-related risks in coordination with relevant departments.
Candidate profile
* Education: Advanced degree in Business, Management, Purchasing, or related fields.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in sourcing or related areas, preferably in B2B markets.
* Skills: Negotiation, supplier relationship management, knowledge of B2B markets, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, risk management, CSR, law, finance, communication, and language skills (English fluent, French a plus).
