We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, systems, and networks for our employees. This role requires excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, as well as the ability to communicate solutions clearly.
The ideal candidate will have experience with endpoint management, SaaS administration, and automation tools, as well as a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices. They will be responsible for managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms, as well as supporting the deployment and integration of new productivity and collaboration tools.
This is a key role that will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our digital infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, and networks for all employees
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS platforms
* Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices
* Support the deployment and integration of new productivity and collaboration tools, including project management (e.g., Teamwork, Jira, Trello), internal tool builders, and AI-driven solutions
* Monitor and maintain endpoint security, including antivirus, firewalls, VPNs, and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
* Assist with cloud infrastructure management, data backup, and disaster recovery planning
* Conduct regular software updates, security patching, and vulnerability assessments
* Support cybersecurity initiatives, including employee security awareness training and incident response
* Document processes, create user guides, and train staff on new technologies and best practices
Requirements:
* A working level of spoken and written English
* Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
* Deep knowledge of computer systems, networks, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; ability to solve problems independently and communicate solutions clearly
* Experience with endpoint management, SaaS administration, and automation tools
* Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, including MFA, VPNs, patch management, and incident response
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to train and support non-technical users
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications)
