**Your Role and Responsibilities**
The professionals will be responsible to Architect Solutions to zOS Storage, OS, Network, Config support management in z/OS mainframe environment.
Among the activities expected by the SME are:
Create end-to-end solution to automate system management activities such as Patch, Install, Decommission, Health Check, Deviation Remediation, Configuration.
Develop architectural diagrams with complete details about the automation solutions, which will later be developed in partnership with Ansible Role Developers.
Integrate zOS system management with modern toolsets like Service Now CMDB, Slack Webhooks, Zowe CLI, Ansible Tower, GitHub repo.
Provide technical expertise support on zOS environment to Ansible Role developers.
Define standards and collaborate with support teams to implement standardization across the entire scope.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- The professionals should demonstrate deep knowledge of zOS Storage, OS, Network, or Config in mainframe environment.
- Be able to solve complex problems and have living experience in installation, configuration, high availability, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and security & compliance activities.
- Good communication, teamwork, interest in learning new technologies.
- Experience in working with global teams, with people from several locations.
- Autonomy to work without supervision, targeting to achieve agreed-upon goals and with innovative mindset.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Ansible experience is a plus. REXX programming experience is a plus.
- Ansible experience on Mainframe is a HUGE plus.
- Zowe, ZOAU, R3S knowledge are a plus.
- Other zOS Middleware (DB2, IMS) or Base/Storage/TWS/Network/Nmetview systems management/support experience are a big plus too.
