Web Developer Job Description
About the role:
* This is a part-time position for a web developer located in Latin America.
* We are looking for someone detail-oriented, proactive and able to create seamless user experiences through clean and efficient code.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop responsive websites and web applications.
* Write clean, scalable and efficient code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
* Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web experiences.
* Integrate APIs and third-party services as needed.
* Evaluate cross-browser, cross-platform and device compatibility.
* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
* Troubleshoot and upgrade existing websites and applications.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a web developer or similar role.
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and modern frameworks preferred.
* Experience with back-end technologies a plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills in English (B2+).
* Currently living in Latin America.
