SAP S/4HANA FICO AMS ConsultantLocation: Brazil – Remote Support Hours: EST Business Hours, with flexibility during month-end close and critical incidents Languages: Fluent Portuguese and English (written and spoken)Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO AMS Consultant to provide L2 and L3 application support for Finance processes, with a strong focus on FI modules.This role involves production support, incident and problem management, minor enhancements, and close collaboration with business stakeholders, particularly during month-end close activities, where CO and Material Ledger support is critical.The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership, structured problem-solving, clear communication, and operational rigor in a run-and-maintain AMS environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAMS Production Support (L2 / L3)Provide L2/L3 functional support for SAP S/4HANA Finance processes, including incident, problem, and service request management.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions.Ensure adherence to SLA/OLA targets and operational KPIs.Manage critical finance incidents, coordinating with technical teams and delivering timely stakeholder updates.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close, including extended support when required.Functional Scope – FI / COStrong hands-on experience supporting:FI ModulesFI-GL (General Ledger)FI-AP (Accounts Payable)FI-AR (Accounts Receivable)FI-AA (Asset Accounting)Bank Accounting and Electronic Bank StatementsBrazil Localization (taxes, legal reporting, and country-specific requirements)CO Modules (primarily during month-end close)Material LedgerCost Center AccountingProfit Center AccountingPeriod-end allocations and settlementsAdditional requirements:Strong understanding of FI-MM and FI-SD integrations, particularly finance postings originating from logistics processes.Enhancements & Change SupportDeliver minor enhancements and configuration adjustments within the AMS scope.Prepare functional specifications, test cases, and support UAT activities.Participate in change and release management processes.Maintain high-quality functional and operational documentation.Behavioral ExpectationsAccountabilityTakes end-to-end ownership of issues until resolution.CommunicationDemonstrates clear, concise, and proactive communication with business and IT stakeholders.Rigor & DisciplineApplies structured analysis, strong attention to detail, and maintains audit-ready documentation.CollaborationWorks effectively across teams, vendors, and time zones.Customer FocusUnderstands business impact and prioritizes tasks accordingly.Experience & Qualifications7–10 years of relevant SAP FICO experience.Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA AMS Production Support environments.Solid CO knowledge, particularly related to month-end close and Material Ledger activities.Experience working with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
