Overview
The Javelina Senior Consultant and Plan Build Team Lead is responsible for the delivery of consulting services (plan build and beyond) to customers who are migrating to the Mphasis Javelina platform/s or are utilizing the platform to support their Healthcare Payer operations. This role uses deep knowledge of the Mphasis Javelina platform, payer operations best practices, and the client\'s business objectives to develop individualized product utilization and process-rich strategies. The role requires the ability to analyze the client\'s business requirements and design business process solutions to maximize the efficiencies of the Javelina system. Strong written and verbal communication, deep Healthcare Payer expertise, and analytical/problem solving capabilities are essential. This role also leads the team of plan builders in Professional Services, ensuring the team receives appropriate training, experiences/roles, and opportunities. The lead will work with finance for forecasting, with leadership for statuses, and with the team for team building.
Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of consulting services related to plan build and related activities for customers migrating to the Javelina platform or using it to support Healthcare Payer operations.
* Develop individualized product utilization and process-rich strategies aligned with client objectives.
* Analyze client business requirements and design business process solutions to maximize Javelina system efficiencies.
* Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders; prepare and deliver briefings as needed.
* Lead and manage the Professional Services team of plan builders, including training, role assignments, and opportunity development.
* Collaborate with finance for forecasting and with leadership for project statuses.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5-10 years experience utilizing the Javelina or HEALTHpac platforms broadly.
* Strong knowledge (5+ years) of Javelina-specific plan build configuration areas.
* Experience with implementation consulting on other Core Administration Processing Systems is a plus.
* Detailed knowledge of Health Plans and TPAs; ability to understand payer operations and business fundamentals.
* Strong attention to detail, adherence to project governance, and effective communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to analyze and plan complex implementation projects; comfortable with client and internal executive briefings.
Certifications and Education
* Business or technical college degree or equivalent work experience.
