We are seeking a highly experiencedVMware NSX Consultantto join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert driving the architecture, deployment, and optimization of VMware NSX environments. You'll play a critical role in shaping network virtualization strategies, leading technical engagements, and delivering scalable, secure solutions across private and hybrid cloud infrastructures. ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Deployment Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and deployment of VMware NSX and Aria Operations for Networks Design and implement multi-site architectures including network provisioning, workload management, configuration management, and disaster recovery strategies Integrate NSX with third-party platforms spanning infrastructure, storage, networking, and security solutionsOperations & Management Oversee deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of NSX and Aria Operations for Networks Develop and enforce micro-segmentation policies to strengthen network security posture Ensure adherence to industry standards, security policies, and compliance requirementsCollaboration & Leadership Lead technical discussions, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on troubleshooting and optimization Participate in pre-sales engagements to scope and position NSX-based networking solutions Develop and deliver technical documentation, design documents, and deployment best practicesExperience 15+ years of hands-on technical experience with VMware and supporting technologies 5+ years as a network engineer or architect Proven experience deploying, upgrading, and managing NSX-T environments Experience migrating NSX-V to NSX-T environments Hands-on experience with Aria Operations for Networks (vRNI) for traffic analysis and micro-segmentation Experience installing, configuring, and managing virtual networks and virtual load balancers Ability to work independently in a remote environmentSkills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional technical discussionsEducation Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldCertifications Required:VCP-NV Preferred:VCP-DCV, VCP-CMA, VCAP-DCV, VCAP-CMA, VCDX-NV, VCP-VCF, VCAP-NV
