Synopsis
The position of Senior Systems Analyst is a challenging role that requires technical expertise and leadership skills. The primary responsibilities include supporting the Power Systems platforms within data centers, providing mentorship to off-shore staff, and interacting with customers to resolve environment-related problems.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting IBM Power Systems platforms in data centers.
* Mentoring off-shore staff as needed.
* Interacting with customers to resolve environment-related problems.
* Completing service requests submitted by customers.
* Managing customer user IDs, remote print writers, and queues.
* Submitting service requests for data center services.
* Liaising between customers and the IT Group.
* Researching system and database journals to retrieve auditing information.
* Troubleshooting TCP/IP-based interfaces using IBM and third-party network tracing tools.
Technical Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and experience in working with Power Systems platforms, Vision Solutions MIMIX ha1, Help Systems Halcyon, IBM's BRMS, Enforcive Enterprise Security, Help Systems Robot SCHEDULE and REPLAY, IBM's Advanced Job Scheduler, Rocket Software's LegaSuite application, and IBM Digital Certificate Manager.
