Regulatory Research Analyst Job Description
The role of Regulatory Research Analyst is to provide critical support to the business by maintaining awareness of legislative and regulatory changes across LATAM and North America.
This involves tracking global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other requirements with high accuracy and clarity.
* Monitor regulatory changes and maintain accurate records.
* Analyze new or amended legislation to identify potential impacts on business operations.
* Document findings in a clear and concise manner for stakeholders.
* Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required.
This position will act as the first point of contact for new legal and regulatory changes, collaborating closely with Business Analysts and ERP/GTS specialists.
SAP GTS Alignment
The Regulatory Research Analyst will research and provide insights relevant to SAP GTS (v11 or similar), supporting product specialists on topics such as Export Control & Licensing, Import Control & Market Access, Sanctions & Restricted Party Compliance, Customs & Tariff Management, Trade Agreements & Origin Management, Regulatory Reporting & Declarations, Product & Classification Compliance.
Collaboration with Business Analysts and fellow researchers will be essential to validate findings and maintain consistency.
