Business Development Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing partnerships with restaurants willing to collaborate with us through efficient scheduling and in-person visits, negotiating cooperation agreements.
You will assist partner restaurants in setting up online delivery stores on our platform and provide training for managing their online business operations. Additionally, you will offer professional solutions for merchants' takeout business operations, assist merchants in increasing their turnover, and achieve win-win cooperation.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Partnership Development: Identify and secure partnerships with restaurants willing to collaborate with us through efficient scheduling and in-person visits, negotiating cooperation agreements.
* Online Store Setup: Assist partner restaurants in setting up online delivery stores on our platform and provide training for managing their online business operations.
* Merchant Support: Offer professional solutions for merchants' takeout business operations, assist merchants in increasing their turnover, and achieve win-win cooperation.
* Customer Relationships: Conduct regular follow-ups with partner restaurants to maintain strong customer relationships and coordinate with various departments to resolve daily inquiries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English, Portuguese as working languages; basic English reading and writing skills required, along with proficiency in using office software.
* Business Negotiation: Strong business negotiation and market development skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and drive business partnerships.
* Communication: Honesty, integrity, excellent communication, execution, and collaboration skills, as well as a strong sense of teamwork.
* Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and a willingness to take on challenges with an altruistic mindset.
* On-Site Visits: Primarily involves on-site visits to negotiate and provide services directly to merchants.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience: At least 1 year of experience in sales or merchant services, especially as an Account Manager (AM) or Business Development (BD) professional in e-commerce or food delivery platforms.
* Language: Fluent in English, Portuguese (spoken and written).
