Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Delivery Project Manager: Generalist, you will ensure that client needs are satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation, and delivery of application solutions in response to client requirements. You will be responsible for the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Manage Project Plan and Budget: Develop and manage the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements to ensure successful delivery of application solutions to meet client needs.
Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with and manage efforts of IBM and client employees, as well as third-party vendors, to provide an integrated solution that meets client requirements.
Ensure Contractual Deliverables: Hold overall responsibility for cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables to ensure that client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Apply PM Methodologies: Utilize expert-level knowledge of PM methodologies, including SEI/CMM, to influence client actions and ensure successful project delivery.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Project Management Methodologies: Exposure to expert-level knowledge of PM methodologies, including SEI/CMM, to deliver projects and influence client actions.
Technical Architectures: Experience working with technical architectures pertaining to the client served, enabling the formulation of effective application solutions.
Project Planning and Budgeting: Exposure to managing overall project plans, budgets, structures, schedules, and staffing requirements for successful delivery of application solutions.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Experience working with and managing efforts of diverse teams, including IBM and client employees, as well as third-party vendors.
Contractual Deliverables Management: Exposure to holding overall responsibility for cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables to meet client needs and expectations.
