Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B sales professional with a background in the travel industry to spearhead our business expansion.
About the Role - Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: In charge of existing clients within assigned territories, driving revenue growth through strategic account planning.
* Sales Strategy: Develop and implement plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new business opportunities.
* New Business Acquisition: Secure new key accounts within assigned territories through proactive engagement and relationship building.
* Client Relationship Management: Conduct regular business reviews to assess client needs, address concerns, and provide tailored solutions.
* Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to maximize revenue generation from existing accounts.
* Performance Reporting: Prepare and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.
* Product Development Collaboration: Contribute to the development of new products/services by providing feedback and insights from clients.
* Industry Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.
Requirements - Position Requirements:
* Influencing and Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain successful long-term commercial relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Autonomy and Results Delivery: Proven ability to deliver results in an autonomous working environment.
* Travel Industry Expertise: Solid experience and commercial knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries.
* Commercial Acumen: Good understanding of business for B2B, as well as new business segments and models.
* Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Languages: Proficiency in English and Portuguese is required, with fluency in Spanish being an asset.
