Patent Project Coordinator
A career opportunity exists for a skilled Patent Project Coordinator to oversee and manage patent filing requests. This individual will work closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of all requests within scope and to the highest standards.
This full-time, remote position requires proficiency in English as you will be working with English-speaking teammates and clients. You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting. Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications is required. Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities are essential, along with significant experience managing complex projects.
* Preparation of documents required for EP, PCT, and foreign applications
* Initiation of responses to official communications and notifications
* Filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant
* Monitoring of assigned cases and ensuring timely compliance with deadlines
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a proven track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Strong experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows is also desired, as well as comfort working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines.
