Senior Naval Systems Engineer

About the Role:
The Senior Naval Systems Engineer will be responsible for acting as the technical engineering reference for the design team in structures and naval systems, complying with applicable national and international Norms, Guidelines, Standards, and Procedures for offshore oil production plant projects.
* Develop, review, and approve technical engineering documents and studies related to structures and naval systems.
* Plan, list, and quantify documents produced by the naval structures and systems discipline.
* Develop and review procedures and standards for 3D and 2D project documents.
* Provide technical support to other departments within PETROBRAS related to structures and naval systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze project impacts on operational routines concerning structures and naval systems.
2. Participate in all project phases from conception to AS-BUILT, ensuring compliance with standards.
3. Coordinate or assist in coordinating all project phases, ensuring deadlines, quality, and feasibility.
4. Support project scheduling and other PMO activities related to structures and naval systems.
5. Issue reports and technical opinions on project priorities, timelines, and resource allocation.
6. Conduct technical visits to suppliers, contractors, partners, and production units as needed.
7. Participate in working groups, committees, audits, inspections, hearings, and meetings.
8. Review and approve documents for project commissioning phases.
9. Monitor and support during project implementation and commissioning phases.
10. Assist in procurement activities, including supplier prospecting, material specification, and technical assessments.
11. Proactively seek new suppliers, equipment, and technologies applicable to naval structures and systems.
12. Occasionally act as Job Leader in the absence of the incumbent.
13. Plan and manage commissioning activities involving multiple departments, ensuring proper documentation and equipment testing.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering or related field.
