Position OverviewGemean is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal, forensic, and investigative teams. In this role, you will assist with case preparation, document management, and coordination across legal and investigative matters. You will work closely with attorneys, analysts, and project managers to ensure efficient case handling, accurate documentation, and timely communication. This position plays an important role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting complex litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist legal teams with preparation and organization of case files, documentation, and supporting materialsManage legal documents, correspondence, and records while maintaining accurate filing systemsSupport document review processes and assist with organizing electronically stored information (ESI) for investigations and litigationCoordinate with internal teams including eDiscovery, forensic analysts, and project managers on case-related tasksSchedule meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain calendars for legal professionalsAssist in drafting routine legal correspondence, reports, and administrative documentationTrack case progress, deadlines, and important milestones to ensure timely executionMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information with discretionRequired Qualifications and SkillsProven experience as a legal assistant, paralegal support professional, or in a similar legal administrative roleBachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperience supporting legal, compliance, forensic investigation, financial, or Web3-related matters involving case documentation and administrative coordinationStrong organizational and document management skills with high attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in common office and document management software toolsAbility to handle sensitive legal, financial, and investigative information with discretionAdditional Preferred Qualifications and SkillsExperience supporting litigation, investigations, or compliance matters preferredFamiliarity with eDiscovery processes and legal documentation workflows is advantageousKnowledge of legal research methods and document review practices is beneficialExposure to forensic investigations or regulatory environments is a plusAbout GemeanGemean is a global leader in forensic investigations, electronic discovery, and data analytics.
