As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
You will be responsible for providing attentive care, implementing engaging activities, and fostering a positive learning experience for children aged anywhere between 6 weeks through 12 year olds.Responsibilities:Childcare & Supervision: Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety, hygiene, and well-being at all times.Activity Planning & Implementation: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
This may include arts and crafts, music, storytelling, outdoor play, and educational games.Creating a Positive Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and social interaction.Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.Classroom Management: Implement effective classroom management techniques to encourage positive behavior and cooperation.Observation & Documentation: Observe and document children's development and progress, providing valuable insights for individual learning plans.Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
