About the Strategic Customer Account Manager role
This position will oversee the management of key customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for a leading global food and nutrition company.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and present commercial proposals aligned with customer needs and business strategy. Prioritize key performance indicators to drive revenue growth.
* Coordinate internal functions including Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Commercial to ensure seamless execution and drive process improvements.
* Build and manage the sales forecast and oversee the customer portfolio to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Lead account planning for major clients, manage BID negotiations, and identify new project opportunities to grow the business and strengthen relationships with customers.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Nutrition.
* Fluency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication with global customers.
* Proven experience in strategic account management, preferably in the food or ingredients industry, and a strong understanding of market trends and challenges.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills to drive revenue growth and build lasting partnerships.
* Ability to lead cross-functional coordination and manage complex projects to achieve business objectives.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
