The Opportunity

We're growing our Rio de Janeiro team and hiring for two positions:

* Travel Consultant - a senior sales role focused on converting enquiries into bookings and building lasting client relationships.
* Sales Manager - a senior consultant who also leads, develops, and drives the performance of our consultant team.

Both roles share the same DNA: a highly personalised, authentic approach to selling, and a natural talent for understanding and anticipating client needs. If you're motivated by clients thanking you for the trip of a lifetime, we want to hear from you.

Travel Consultant - What You'll Do

* Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings by crafting bespoke itineraries that genuinely excite clients.
* Consult with clients to uncover their aspirations, budget, and motivations, and translate those into compelling proposals.
* Pitch and close confidently, handling objections and guiding clients to a decision.
* Build trusted, long-term relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
* Negotiate rates and added value with suppliers to keep our product competitively priced without compromising quality.
* Stay ahead of the curve on destination developments, new openings, and emerging experiences across the region.

Sales Manager - What You'll Do

In addition to everything above, you'll:

* Lead and develop our team of travel consultants, coaching on consultative selling, proposal craft, and closing.
* Own the team's pipeline and forecast: track conversion, identify bottlenecks, and intervene early.
* Set, review, and drive individual and team revenue targets.
* Act as a senior point of escalation on complex or high-value enquiries.
* Partner with leadership on commercial strategy, pricing, and supplier negotiations.
* Help recruit, onboard, and shape the next generation of our team.

What We're Looking For (Both Roles)

You're a seasoned travel sales professional with a strong track record of selling high-value travel and consistently hitting, and exceeding, revenue targets. You know how to move a client from "interested" to "booked".

You're a natural closer. Confident pitching, comfortable talking about price, and able to create urgency without ever feeling pushy.

You have your finger on the pulse of South America: what's new, what's exciting, what clients can't find anywhere else.

You're commercially minded. You understand margin, negotiate well with suppliers, and price trips competitively while maintaining the level of luxury synonymous with our brand.

Your attention to detail is excellent. The trips you sell are executed flawlessly, and your written correspondence is consistently polished.

You're a team player. You share ideas freely and build strong relationships with clients, guides, and colleagues alike.

Additionally for the Sales Manager

* Demonstrable experience leading or mentoring a sales team, with examples of how you've lifted individual or team performance.
* Comfortable with numbers: pipeline reporting, forecasting, and conversion analysis.
* The judgement to know when to coach, when to step in, and when to let your team run.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
* Demonstrable experience in travel sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
* Knowledge of South America as a destination is essential. Latin America and the Caribbean a plus.
* Native-level English. Portuguese, Spanish, or other languages a plus.
* Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
* Resilient, self-motivated, and genuinely passionate about travel.
* Based in, or willing to relocate to, Rio de Janeiro.
