In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Account Managers to understand client needs and position requirements, source candidates on LinkedIn, and craft personalized Emails and InMails to engage potential candidates. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your recruitment skills and gain experience in interviewing candidates for various job roles.This is a full-time, ongoing contract with no set end date. We’re looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with us, with plenty of room to grow and develop over time.Hours are 9-5 EST (flexible)Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Account Manager to gain a comprehensive understanding of client companies and specific job positions.Source and identify potential candidates on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.Write and send tailored emails and InMails to engage and attract candidates.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and progress.Participate in candidate interviews and assessments as needed.Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in a technical recruiter role at a recruitment agency where you are focused on sourcing candidates on LinkedIn and reaching out via Phone, InMail and email.Proven experience sourcing software engineers for startups and understanding various software engineering positions, including associated languages and technologies.Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Post-secondary degree in any field.Bonus points:Coding experience (professional or personal)A college or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar is strongly preferredCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: CAD $25,000–$31,000 annuallyUncapped Placement Bonus: Earn a commission for every candidate you placeQuarterly Performance Bonus: Additional earnings for hitting multi-hire targets within the same month/quarterOn-Target Earnings (OTE): Top performers typically earn CAD $30,000–$37,500+ annuallyGrowth & Development: Extensive training, ongoing professional development, and annual salary increases based on performanceTime Off: 3–4 weeks of paid vacation (based on seniority) plus all Canadian statutory holidays off
