We are seeking a seasoned Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) professional to join our team as a PLM Engineer III.
In this critical role, the successful candidate will serve as a technical expert in infrastructure related to manufacturing information systems. They will identify methods and architect solutions to provide exceptional service to end-users of our applications. This individual will contribute to building out, maintaining, and troubleshooting a rapidly expanding application system and its infrastructure. They will work closely with other engineers, analysts, and leadership to obtain regular feedback on design and execution. Additionally, they will provide periodic operational support and maintenance of our manufacturing systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, optimization, troubleshooting, upgrades, installation, and documentation of infrastructure related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. This includes PLM database management, project management systems, CAD, and PDM systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Administration of new and existing technologies, including design, documentation, install, configuration, maintenance, integration, and testing of related systems
* Collaboration with business customers on hardware, middleware, and application requirements
* Leadership with vendors, engineers, analysts, and leadership to ensure the integrity of databases, application software, and data
* Regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity, health, and availability of all systems and key processes, reviewing application and system logs, and ensuring completion of scheduled jobs
* Problem-solving efforts regarding system and service matters and facilitating support with outside personnel, organizations, and/or vendors when necessary
* Monitoring tech-industry trends and bringing new ideas and innovative solutions
To succeed in this role, the candidate must have a strong educational background in Information Systems or a similar discipline, and/or equivalent related work experience. Preferred qualifications include PLM Certification and hands-on experience with ARAS (PLM tool) and SolidWorks (CAD system).
