ITTConnect is seeking a Tableau Server Administrator to work remotely for a client in the US. This is a long term position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the retail/food services/technology area.
Job location: Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil.

Responsibilities:
* Ability to setup and configure Tableau servers on various on prem and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
* Experience with server upgrades and parameter changes
* Proficiency in connecting Tableau to different data sources and extract data from these sources
* Manage user permissions, security, and access within Tableau environments
* Troubleshoot Tableau performance issues and optimizing dashboards
Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years of IT experience
* 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Tableau Servers
* Strong understanding of Tableau architecture, including workbooks, data sources, extract refresh schedules, and server maintenance.
* Knowledge of Tableau Server features, including scheduling, content management, and server configuration.
* Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) to troubleshoot data-related issues.
* Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or batch scripting for automating administrative tasks is a plus.
* Understanding of data governance concepts and experience implementing data security measures in Tableau.
* Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) is a plus but not required
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to explain and understand problems effectively
* Strong stakeholder communication skills
* Time zone: Pacific Time Zone preferred, but flexibility is possible
