Job Summary
Supports the execution of trade compliance and customs operations by ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and internal standards, contributing to efficient and compliant cross-border supply chain activities.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Executes day-to-day customs and trade compliance activities in alignment with internal procedures and external regulations.
Maintains accurate trade compliance data (e.g., HS classification, country of origin, ECCN).
Coordinates with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure timely and compliant import/export operations.
Monitors and reports on trade compliance metrics and documentation accuracy.
Supports internal and external audits by providing required documentation and clarifications.
Assists in the implementation of trade compliance programs and process improvements.
Tracks regulatory changes and escalates potential compliance risks to management.
Manages and coordinates the PO administration and spend control, provides input to the Risk and Standards Trade and Customs Program manager.
Critical Experiences
Bachelor’s degree completed in International Logistics, Engineering or related.
+3/5 years of experience in trade compliance, customs regulations, or supply chain logistics.
Experience in import and export operations, including Free Trade Zone management.
Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Leadership skills are desirable.
Advanced English is mandatory.
This is an on-site position located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
