Job challenges:
- Management of legal documents – PGR, PCMSO, ASO, LTCAT;
- Monitor, and enforce KNOT’s HSEQ policies, procedures, and governing documentation;
- Monitor company activities to ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and internal HSEQ requirements;
- Ensure adherence to Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs) and applicable local legal requirements, supporting their correct application in the workplace;
- Manage the availability, distribution, and correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Take part in investigations and analyses of work-related accidents, incidents, and near misses;
- Prepare technical reports, record findings, and communicate deviations, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
- Develop and support educational actions and safety campaigns related to occupational health and safety.
- Participate in HSEQ audits and inspections, both onshore and onboard vessels/facilities.
- Support internal and external inspections and follow up on action plans resulting from audits;
- Participate inemergency response drills and simulations;
- Support emergency response readiness and compliance with emergency procedures;
Requirements:
- Technical degree in Occupational Safety;
- Previous experience as an Occupational Safety Technician, preferably in the maritime/naval industry;
- Advanced English (frequent interaction with Norwegian colleagues and other cultures) – will be tested;
- Experience in the implementation of Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs);
- Intermediate Excel skills;
- Desirable: Bachelor’s degree;
- Desirable: Experience with eSocial system (Brazilian digital platform for labor, social security, and tax reporting).
