**Organizational Setting**

The project objective is to contribute to the national processes of strengthening family farmers in Brazil for poverty reduction and rural revitalization. The outcome is to implement differentiated policies and programs that improve the capacities of the national government, local and family farmers in areas such as ATER (rural extension and technical advisory services), Credit Programs, land access and governance, access to markets and the strengthening of cooperativism.
**Reporting Lines**
The incumbent reports to the Assistant Representative in FAO Brazil - Programme.
**Technical Focus**
To carry out a study to subsidize the Department of the National Registry of Family Agriculture - DCAF in the management of data and information from the National Registry of Family Agriculture, and in its consolidation as an instrument for identifying Family Farming and enabling family farmers' access to public policies available to the segment, considering the five Brazilian regions as a territorial reference..
**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Process CAF data;
- Draft data architecture proposals;
- Develop proposals for building and monitoring data pipelines;
- Create CAF monitoring and evaluation indicators;
- Construct and guide dashboard management;
- Produce materials for CAF informative reports.
- Assist the project in meetings, seminars, meetings and workshops whenever requested or when necessary to deepen specific issues related to CAF, in order to support the development of products; and
- Contribute to the construction of strategies and methodologies to qualify and expand CAF's reach.
**CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING**:
**Minimum Requirements**
- University Degree in Applied Social Sciences, Exact and Earth Sciences or Human Sciences, according to the table of areas of knowledge of CAPES/CNPq.
- Minimum experience of 05 (five) years in data processing, analysis and/or engineering. In case of having specialization and 03 (three) years of experience in the requested areas. In case of having Master's degree and 02 (two) years of experience in the requested areas and in case of having a Doctorate and 01 (one) year of experience in the requested areas.
- Working knowledge (level C) of English or Spanish and Portuguese;
- National of Brazil or resident of the country with valid work permit
