Working with Affinity is a “ Lifetime Experience ” where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate all your potential and to be successful on every level. #welcometoyourfuture What you need to have College degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, or similar; 5+ years of experiencein data engineering or related roles; Strong experience with data pipeline design and development (batch and streaming); Proficiency in Pythonand/or Scala for data processing; Experience with SQL and relational/non-relational data modeling; Experience with big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or similar); Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, AWS Glue, Redshift, or similar); Knowledge ofdata warehousing concepts and lakehouse architectures; Familiarity with datagovernance and data quality practices; Excellent English skills (C1/C2); Availability to relocate to Portugal. Nice to have Experience with dbt, Delta Lake, or Apache Iceberg; Familiarity with real-time/streaming architectures (Kafka, Flink); Knowledge ofBI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar); What we expect fromyou Will to exceed expectations (your own and the ones defined by Affinity); Exceptional skills and the will to acquire more; Good people skills (not just in terms of technology, language, and platforms), team spirit, and pleasant disposition; Autonomy, proactivity, and focus (even under pressure); Obsession for doing things right, and ability to prioritize; Versatility (you can be a fan of BYOD or not); Ability to innovate and evolve in a market in constant mutation.
