As a Data Streaming Engineer in the customer team, you will leverage millions of daily connections with readers and viewers across the online platforms as a competitive advantage to deliver reliable, scalable streaming solutions.
You will collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists and developers across all departments throughout the entire customer organization.
You will design and build cloud-based data pipelines, both batch and streaming, and its underlying infrastructure.

Experience implementing highly available and scalable big data solutionsIn-depth knowledge of at least one cloud provider, preferably AWSProficiency in languages such as Scala, Python, or shell scripting, specifically in the context of streaming data workflowsExtensive experience with streaming technologies so you can challenge the existing setup.Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelinesFull understanding of modern software engineering best practicesExperience with Domain-driven designDevOps mindsetAWS certification or willingness to achieve AWS certification within 6 months (minimum: AWS Certified Associate)Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for teamwork and techniques like pair programmingWillingness to travel for business trips to Belgium and the NetherlandsOur projects & stack:You will be working closely with a tech stack that includesScala, Kafka, Kubernetes, Kafka Streams, and Snowflake.Your position in the organization:This position will be a part of one of our Data departments and your department manager will be there to guide you and support your career development.What do we offer?
