Sales Manager Job Description
The Sales Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving growth across the LATAM region by selling nutraceutical ingredients to the dietary supplement and functional food & beverage industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and grow key accounts across LATAM, fostering senior-level relationships with brand owners, CDMOs/contract manufacturers, and distributors.
2. Develop and execute country- and segment-level territory plans to capture new business opportunities.
3. Present nutraceutical ingredients to customers, clearly articulating benefits, applications, and go-to-market strategies.
4. Collaborate with technical, regulatory, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions and product launches.
5. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify areas of growth and protect market share.
6. Meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets through accurate forecasting and disciplined CRM management.
7. Represent the company at regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
8. Provide technical/product support to customers in coordination with internal teams.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional regulations and standards (e.g., ANVISA, COFEPRIS, INVIMA).
Requirements
* 5+ years of B2B sales experience in nutraceutical ingredients within LATAM.
* Strong understanding of nutraceutical ingredients and their applications in dietary supplements and functional F&B.
* Proven ability to prospect, build pipelines, negotiate, and close deals across multiple countries.
* Language: Fluent Portuguese and strong Spanish; English is an asset.
* Self-starter comfortable working remotely; excellent time management skills.
* Based in Brazil with willingness to travel across LATAM as required.
* Proficiency with MS Office and CRM software (ZOHO preferred).
